Wilsons of Kinver have been upholstering boats since 1959. Primarily it was seating for wooden and glass-fibre motor cruisers. Then came the advent of the private Narrowboat, with its dinette, “L” shaped settees and bunk beds.

In the early nineties, extended cruising started to enter the picture, and it was then realised by the Narrowboat crews that the furniture they had on board was not giving them the comfort or versatility they required.

It was around this time we began to be asked for chair/beds and sofa/beds. It was then that we designed the “Trent” chair/bed, which has since undergone several changes. We can now offer a range of free standing furniture, all designed for the narrow boat, and with your comfort in mind.
